We believe that with the advent of technology, there is a lot of room for "new age" type of office supplies. We have many ideas that we believe would improve and enhance the daily workings of the office environment.

One of the first products we introduce is the Auto-Ring hole-punch reinforcement applicator. Punching holes on paper in order to bind them together has been a practice for centuries. Paper breaks and holes tear so reinforcement rings made of mylar have been invented to apply onto the paper holes to prevent them from tearing.

Applying reinforcement rings is a tedious and boring process. It is even more cumbersome if you happen to have long nails. My secretary used to dedicate the later part of Friday afternoon just to apply reinforcement rings to paper files. Reinforcement rings also have a tendency to bleed and fall off once they have been in contact with the oils on human fingers.

Our first product line of Auto-Ring is designed specifically for this function. The single hole-applicator is designed to reinforce paper punch holes one at a time without having to touch them or removing them from a strip. Aim, press and viola, the ring is automatically applied on the paper. Simple to use; just like a stapler. And when you are finished with the tape/rings, replace it with a new "roll" with a simple twist on/twist off.

The Auto-Ring hole-punch reinforcement applicator may seem to be a very simple device but it has gone through numerous generations of improvement and changes. More than four generations of tooling and molds have been scrapped and thrown away to evolve to today's design after over ten years of trial and error. Three patents have been filed to reflect the uniqueness of its design. Finally, we have come to the conclusion of what we have is user friendly and simple-to-use.

For the next generation of products, we will introduce a single-hole, a two-hole and a three-hole reinforcement applicators/punches that actually punch the paper and apply the rings simultaneously on the first page of the stack. The 2-hole and 3-hole holepunches are designed to be able to punch paper up to 15 pages. Each device would actually punch a paper hole first before it automatically applies a reinforcement ring on the paper eliminating the need to punch a hole and then apply the reinforcement ring later. The punched holes are automatically reinforced. Why wait for the paper to tear before applying the reinforcement rings. Apply them while you punch the paper. This would safeguard the first page of the paper file from tearing. If the first page is protected, the rest of the pages normally do not tear. At the same time, use them as regular holepunches; not needing to buy the regular ones.

We have tested and re-designed them over and over numerous times in the past ten years until we believe they are absolutely fool proof and great to use. They are simple but we believe we will change people habits in applying reinforcement rings and revolutionalize the industry.
